A huge milestone was reached this year when the third act finally came to an end. After all these years, Ark enters Berugas laboratory and faces something he doesn’t yet know will have a profound, all-changing impact on his destiny. But this further Pandora’s box is not to be opened yet, since it is first necessary to look back again in order to approach the finale in the fourth act with a clear view and no less alert senses.

The journey was long and arduous and some lonely rocks stood in the way of the red thread again and again. So we go back to the beginning and in BEYOND THE SKY we return under the sky of the underworld to Ark, Crysta and Melina, even before the disaster cast its shadow over the perfect illusionary world in the midst of the underworld darkness.

Terraeterno is not yet telling about the five towers and is going its own way far away from all known, signposted paths. Too far on rough terrain, in my opinion, so that I approach the cobbled road again and finally kicked up more than enough dust and dirt along the way to finally have my very own road trip on the road.

As I write these lines, I am working on the revised chapters in which Ark climbs the last remaining tower, where the whole picture of his previously hidden world is revealed to him. At the moment of defeat, the knowledge of hope should reveal itself to him, but the next calamity is already approaching when the manifested terror separates the veil of nightmare with sharp claws.

It then becomes more exciting with the revision of the two subsequent ACTS, for which no less than their great union is created. For the great third ACT still far surpasses the first two in scope and fullness, with the second suffering particularly from the absence of humanity. The resurrection of all life takes Ark along time and the ascended continents, and although a brave lion and the dreams that haunt him, elicit a few words from him, the second act in its quiet beauty can’t quite keep up with the events and encounters of the third ACT.

In Terraeterno, for example, the Tibet plot, which is more extensive than in the game, is added from the third to the second act, where both share the stage in turn, before the end of the two shows their common point of intersection. This new second ACT is called THROUGH SPIRIT & TIME.

The third act thus begins on the journey along the Silk Road and continues to take Ark, according to the unchanged title BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH, across the globe. Of course, there is also an extensive list of changes to work through here, which in particular takes up Ark’s journey through Spain and the new world and dives even deeper into that time with its political and cultural events. I’m also happy to revisit my favorite character, the Queen of Spain.

And then finally, certainly not before 2023, I will return to the future at the end of the already traveled road, where the unwritten horizon knows how to wait for Ark and me with completely new challenges. When the sleeping one awakens and throws the bond between light and shadow out of balance, the fate of everyone is at stake and not only Ark in END OF A DREAM has to throw everything into the balance before the last dream is dreamed.
